The “reunion committee” is working hard in preparation for the 2nd Annual Lumas Family & Friends Reunion. After a successful First Annual Reunion on August 5, 2006, Patrice coordinated with Bernadette to plan another day where her cherished family and friends could spend a day together filled with love.
Our goal as a family is to set a foundation for the future of our children. It is important that we instill in them a sense of place in our history and our culture.
The reunion will be held at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The reunion will be family picnic style – so please bring your picnic baskets, chairs and/or blankets, and come and enjoy the fun. There will be activities and games.
Make sure to bring your camera to capture all the wonderful moments. Feel free to upload a copy of any images on our website (www.lumasfamily.com) or e-mail a copy of the image with a description of the family and friends in the photograph to lumasfamily@yahoo.com.
